I will restore your upholstered furniture professionally and authentically. I am trained in the traditional craft with springs, coir and horsehair or for modern furniture with rubber foam, as appropriate for contemporary pieces. In addition, the varnish of your wooden furniture will be well maintained. I refresh the existing varnish, or strip and re-polish it as required.
With the right fabric, your most beloved chairs and sofas turn into real eye-catchers. I would be pleased to accompany you to the showrooms of my fabric suppliers Kvadrat and Romo, assisting and advising you to the right fabric. I also handcraft customised pillowcases and make cushions.

about me
Before I decided to become an interior decorator, I have worked in several other fields. I lived in England to rediscover my roots and then travelled extensively throughout Europe. I have washed dishes; worked in factories; sold coffee and have cared for disabled people.
Finally, in upholstery, I found my true vocation and the profession for me. I am proud to have mastered this very old and traditional craft. When I am rebuilding a piece of upholstery I am in my element. Time passes and I already have gained ten years experience as an interior decorator. In order to acquire an in-depth knowledge of professional wood surface treatment and to become versed in stylistics I completed a further education in restoration.
I have found a wonderful, central, Atelier on the Sihlquai 55. There, together with other likeminded people that share my passion, I have finally found my tribe and home here in the community.
